When you graduate or want to apply to a university in Korea most of them, besides the Korean proficiency test called TOPIK they will also ask for the English proficiency test. In Korea, there are some types that you can take, however, make sure which ones are accepted by each type of institution.

TEPS (Test of English Proficiency created by Seoul National University) is an English proficiency test designed by Seoul National University's Language Education Institute based on years of research and more than 50 years of language proficiency assessment experience.
The Listening comprehension section measures test takers’ ability to grasp main ideas, understand details, and make plausible inferences. Parts 1 to 3 feature conversations, and Parts 4 and 5 consists of various types of monologues such as talks, lectures, news reports, announcements, and advertisements. In Part 5, each passage has two questions, which are designed to assess test takers’ ability to understand the passage comprehensively.
In the Vocabulary section, Part 1 features spoken English, and Part 2 features written English. Part 1 consists of conversations including words, phrases, and idiomatic expressions that native English speakers frequently use in their daily lives. In Part 2, words related to academic and technical areas are tested.
In grammar, Part 1 and the first two items of Part 3 test grammatical elements of expressions in daily conversations, and Part 2 and the last three items of Part 3 measure test takers’ understanding of the grammatical knowledge required to construct grammatically correct written statements.
The Reading Comprehension section assesses test takers’ ability to grasp main ideas, understand details, and make logical inferences. This section measures test takers’ ability not only to understand a passage in detail but also to grasp the flow of the entire passage.
2. TOEIC

The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is a standardized test that assesses an individual's readiness for work. The test measures hearing, reading, writing, and speaking skills in English. TOEIC standards are used by educational institutions and businesses. The Educational Testing Services (ETS) is in charge of the administration of tests all around the world. The TOEIC is not like other English tests. You have the option of taking the entire test or only a portion of it. If you need to demonstrate speaking skills, for example, you could take the TOEIC speaking examination.
ETS offers three types of TOEIC tests, and you can take one or all of them:

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry administers the Foreign Language EXamination (FLEX), a professional foreign language competence test developed by Hankuk University of Foreign Languages in 1999. (KORCHAM). It serves as a standardized instrument for evaluating the overall aptitude of foreign languages in a fair and balanced manner.

These English proficiency exams, are made by Korea, or used mostly in Korean universities, of course, you can always pass IELTS or TOEFL, but those are more expensive.
