1. Gwangjang market(광장시장)


Maybe one of the most popular traditional markets in Korea, Gwangjeong market is located in the middle of Seoul, around the touristic area of Jongro district, near Jogmyo shrine! One of the oldest and biggest traditional markets in Korea.

What to eat: Gwangjang market is especially famous for Korean pancakes. A lot of stores there are selling this dish in different shapes and flavors along with of course Makgeolli!

3. Magnwon Market (망원 시장)

If you like seafood, this is the perfect place for you! Noryangjin area is famous for this market as it is one of the biggest fishery markets in Korea. The price of the fish here is decided by the quantity!

6. Namdaemun Market
