TOP dating spots in Korea

Petite France

While being in South Korea, you can enjoy the European atmosphere of romance without leaving the nation. Adapted from the famous French tale "The Little Prince," it resembles a little French village. Petite France, a French cultural town an hour from Seoul, commemorates the Little Prince by displaying Little Prince-inspired art throughout the village. It has 16 French-style buildings and 23 attraction locations. Yellow, blue, and red homes encourage tourists to take a breather and immerse themselves in their magical European fantasies.


Admission Fee: 8,000 KRW for adults and 6,000 KRW for children

Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm

How to get there: To go to Petite France, you must first travel to Cheongpyeong station. This station is accessible through the ITX rail or the Seoul Subway System. Make an online reservation for ITX or you can pay for the subway using cash or T-money. When you arrive, take the shuttle bus from Cheongpyeong Station's bus stop at exit 2. It covers the key tourist attractions in the area for 6,000 KRW, and you can hop on and off the bus to visit the attractions.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza

The Dongdaemun Design Plaza is situated in the center of Seoul's downtown. Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a modern architectural masterpiece constructed by Zaha Hadid that is home to diverse international design shows, fashion exhibits, and art showcases, making it ideal for couples who enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. It's the perfect date option if you don't want to venture too far out of Seoul.


How to Get There: Take the subway to the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station.


Picnic at the Seoul Forest


Seoul Forest is an excellent choice for a low-cost date. Bicycles may be rented, deer can be fed in the ecology park, the butterfly garden can be visited, and the sculpture park can be walked through. Seoul Forest, we believe, is the ideal location for having your own picnic and enjoying a small oasis of trees in the middle of the city.


How to get there: by Seoul Subway Line 2, Ttukseom station, exit 8, or Bundang Line, Seoul-forest station, exit 3. Proceed straight until you get to the large street and turn left. About a block down, across the street is the park.


Han River Cruise


Rivers in cities have a romantic aspect to them. Take lunch and a water tour of the city aboard one of the Han River cruises. After that, have an alcoholic beverage at Dongjak Bridge Cafe, a riverbank pub, and take in the nighttime Seoul beauty.


How to get there: Get off at Yeouinaru station (line 5, exit 3). 5 mins walk towards Han River (Hangang) to reach E-land Cruise Yeouido Dock.


Pocheon Herb Island & Art Valley


This is an unusual theme park and features a variety of entertaining things for you and your partner to enjoy throughout your afternoon together. Take a romantic gondola ride, dress in traditional costumes for photos, tour the many gardens, and eat makgeolli and snacks! If you find yourself bored, take a bus to Pocheon Art Valley and take the monorail. Explore the aerospace museum and outdoor sculpture park while walking through this old rock quarry! 


How to get there: From Uijeongbu Station at line 1 exit 6 take bus number 137, or 138 until Gichi-2ri Sinbokmyeon Samusu Station from here you can choose either take bus number 87-1 or 87-2, walking around 20minutes or using a taxi for around 5000 won.

From Art valley to Herb Island, from Gichi-2ri Sinbokmyeon Samusu Station take bus number 61 to Samjeong-2ri and walk for 10 minutes to herb island.


Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain


The Rainbow Fountain on the Banpo Bridge is the world's longest bridge fountain. Throughout the day and night, the fountain is intended to perform various displays. The fountain has a hundred various configurations over the day that are supposed to resemble sweeping willow branches and leaves. When the sun sets, 200 lights illuminate the fountain, which then sends up dancing, rainbow-colored water jets into the air in time with the music. It has 380 jets and draws water directly from the Hangang River.


How to get there: Get off at Express Bus Terminal Station and take Exit 8-1 or 8-2. Walk straight for 250 meters, turning right at the Express Bus Terminal intersection. Walk straight for another 400 meters and cross the road.

The fountain usually works about 5~8 times every dayevery day about 5~8 times but it may vary according to the schedule.

April-October (Duration: 15min)

* Weekends: 12:00, 17:00, 19:30 (July & August only), 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 21:30
