What does it mean?
Foreigners illegally staying in Korea will be able to voluntarily depart from September 11, 2023, until December 31, 2023. They will be granted a fine exemption and suspension of entry restrictions.
Eligibility
Anyone but:
Your status became illegal after the effective date of this program (Sep 11, 2023)
You have illegally crossed the border into Korea
You have used a forged or altered passport
You are a criminal offender
You have failed to comply with a departure order

Statement of Voluntary Departure
Boarding pass
Must DO for Korea Illegal Immigrants
Foreigners applying must declare their voluntary departure by:
1. Visiting an immigration office
2. Filing an online declaration
*You must depart Korea through ports or airports once the suspension of entrance restrictions and fine exemption has been granted.
The declaration must be filed and submitted at least 3 days before the program's expiration date (vacations are not included) or 15 days (vacations included).

2. Under My Civil Petitions Status click/tap on Preliminary Declaration of Voluntary Departure
